David Malin holds a honorary Doctor of Divinity degree and is a licensed Physical Therapist with a practice near Boulder, Colorado. He has been practicing wholistically for 22 years since 1977 when he completed training in Polarity Therapy, an eclectic and wholistic approach to therapy that draws strongly from Osteopathy and Ayurvedic Medicine. He became certified in Massage Therapy in 1979 and then in Gestalt Therapy, a wholistic and dynamic mind/body approach to psychotherapy, in 1981. He spent several years apprenticing with some very experienced practitioners, including a senior osteopath before he retired and a spiritual healer.

In 1984 he completed his degree in Physical Therapy when he began interfacing his alternative and wholistic practice with the western medical model. Since then he has continued to pursue extensive post-graduate training in Craniosacral Therapy, Visceral Manipulation, Homeopathy, Esoteric Healing and Chinese Healing methods, which includes repeated trips to each France, Canada, and China to study with renown practitioners.

His Body Math system evolved from Barral's Visceral Manipulation and Friesen's clairvoyant work with the chakras and from Malin's 22 years of experience in the healing arts. David's teaching began in the late 1970's with workshops in Polarity Therapy.

Since then it includes having been for two years on the faculty of the Boulder School of Massage Therapy and being a Certified Teaching Assistant for many years for the Upledger Institute teaching throughout the United States in both Craniosacral Therapy and Visceral Manipulation. In 1995 he founded Wholistic Seminars, through which he has taught many seminars nationally. His students have included Massage Therapists, Nurses, Occupational and Physical Therapists, Chiropractors, Dentists, Medical Doctors and other Healing Arts Practitioners.

David's focus in teaching has always been on helping practitioners develop our sensitivity and skill in 'listening and reading' the many levels of pertinent information presented by patients from their physical and energetic bodies and making sure that this information is grounded in reproducible reality coming from the patient versus from the practitioner's imagination or projections.

David Malin's work has recently been the feature of a half-hour television special on Alternative Medicine which continues to be aired both nationally as well as internationally.
