Pastured Poultry and Free Range Eggs Turkey for Thanksgiving only Per their recent newsletter they will have pastured beef and pork this Fall as well as organically grown produce

Harding Farms offers pastured eggs, chicken, beef, pork, and turkey. The beef cattle are raised on pasture alone. The poultry is raised on pasture plus a natural grain mix. The pork is raised on pasture plus out-of-date milk. Eggs are available year round. Chickens and pork are available May through October. Beef is offered in October and November. Turkey is available for Thanksgiving and Christmas. Limited quantities of all products are also available frozen at the farm. The beef and pork are sold as whole carcasses, halves, or split halves and limited individual cuts.

Holterholm Farms produces pasture-finished beef from Jersey and Jersey/Angus crosses. The cattle are fed some grain until they reach 300 pounds, then they receive no more grain until slaughter. Kelp is given as a natural mineral source. No antibiotics or hormones are used. The beef is available in November and December in whole carcasses, halves, split halves, and quarters. Ruth Ann's Garden Style Beef is available in whole, halves, or split halves in the spring, with the possibility of some beef being available in the fall in the future. The beef is dry-aged a minimum of two weeks, then vacuum-packed in clear plastic and quickly frozen. This 130-acre "all grass" farm is an hour from Washington D.C. or Baltimore and 20 minutes from Frederick.
