Find balance in your Feng Shui... For Health, Happiness and Prosperity
The earth's magnetic field generates powerful unseen energy forces that have been recognized for thousand of years. It is thought that ancient cultures sited their standing stone circles on the areas were this energy was the strongest, and most beneficial. In Chinese culture, the effect of earth's energies are balanced in order to promote health and well-being. This is done through the discipline known as feng shui (pronounced FUNG-Schway). Feng Shui, to some degree, can be related to Geopathic and Magnetic (or Electromagnetic) Therapy in the West. Geopathic therapy aims to relieve geopathic stress by avoiding it. This may be done by moving your furniture away from an affected area, or by deflecting the energies with mirrors. Magnetic therapy involves the use of magnetic and electromagnetic force fields to treat a variety of disorders in the body itself, from neck and shoulder pain, lumbago, joint pain, tendonitis and more. Feng shui divides energy into two categories; energy above the ground which moves like wind, and energy below ground which moves like water. Above the ground the energy will channel through doors, windows, chimneys. Outside of your home or office, the energy will be directed by trees, fences, landscaping, and neighboring buildings and structures. Below the ground, the energy rises up and is attracted to the surface through absorbent materials such as brick, plaster, water, and wood. The desired outcome of feng shui is to create a harmonious whole by integrating people, buildings, and landscape by balancing these energies. It is believed that only when balance and harmony are achieved can the Ch'i (the life force energy of the universe) flow freely, resulting in good health, happiness and prosperity. In Chinese cultures, this practice is taken very seriously and alterations to existing buildings or the construction of new ones are only undertaken after consultation with a feng shui expert. To some, correcting "bad feng shui" is as much a part of the healing process as prescribing herbs or applying acupuncture. hysical, professional, and spiritual life.
