Trust

TRUST. It is the key word in many of the sessions I conduct. Most of us are not sure we know how to take care of ourselves. We don't dare to believe that the answers for our own lives are inside us.

How do we access our personal pool of wisdom?

How do we trust that our choices are true choices?

How do we give up the fear that demands, "But what if I make a mistake?"

Every day we are challenged to know our selves, to make decisions that can feel scary. We make choices about our beliefs, health, relationships, finances, experiences, time...even whether to live or to die. Most of us are straddling the roles we play with tenuous balance, making sure everyone's needs are met and that our world is okay. When asked if we are happy or living our dreams, we can only muster the "Yeah, I'm okay", but we don't even address the "dreams" part.

When will we dare to give up playing it small and allow our immensity to come out and shine?

When will we say, "It's my turn to show up and live from my greatness. It's time for me to create an act of power on behalf of my life and my dreams. It's my turn to trust that I've got everything I need within me to pull off my blinders and get into my life. It's my turn to bring forward that special piece that only I can bring to the world. I'm ready to receive the gifts I have to offer, and to share them as I go." When will it be time? When we say so.

TRUST. It is the key to our changes. It is the courage to be still while God dismantles our old life to make way for a miracle on our behalf and by our request. Trust is the freedom to bring our blessings to our lives and therefore to the world. Trust is how we come to know ourselves. Trust is a choice.

When we choose to be worthy of our own trust, love starts to move within us. Like a strong current, it carries us through the darkness of our self doubt into our self illumination. It takes up deeper to the place of connection. We are delivered to all we need; all the guidance, instincts, wisdom, creativity, and aliveness that has always been there. It rises to meet us like an old wise friend who says, "Let us begin." The question then becomes, are we listening?

Can we trust enough to hear, to feel, to allow ourselves the privilege of having a conscious and clear relationship with this well of guidance?

Can we let our natural, divine direction from within bring us the life we really want to be living?

My answer is YES. My clients learn to say YES when they learn trust. When they do, their lives change!
